MELDRIM - One person was killed and two others were injured following a fiery Tuesday morning two-car accident at the intersection of U.S. 80 and Sandhill Road in southern Effingham County. The unidentified victim was killed after his GEO Tracker collided head on with a Pontiac Aztek shortly before 2 a.m., said Robert Scott of the Georgia State Patrol.
