Four people were injured in a Paulding County accident on the morning of Monday, February 21, 2011. The crash occurred on Dallas – Nebo Road near Sam Alexander Road at approximately 8 a.m.  Two children, on their way to school, were injured in this two-vehicle accident.

Police report that a Toyota Tundra and a Ford F-250 collided, and that occupants were trapped in their vehicles.  A thirteen-year-old boy and a thirteen-year-old girl were injured in the crash.   According to reports of this Paulding County car crash, one of the children was airlifted to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, and the other child was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.  There is no word on the condition for either of the young teenagers.

Both adult drivers were also injured in this crash.  One driver refused treatment, according to the police. The other driver was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Georgia State Patrol had the road closed for approximately three hours while the accident was investigated. The cause of the crash and the identities of those involved in this Georgia car accident have not yet been released.
