Sadly, a tragic wreck claimed the life of an Atlanta man Friday August 5, 2011. According to police officials, this Paulding car accident occurred on Cadillac Parkway around midnight.

This two-vehicle crash in Georgia involved a Pontiac G6 and a motorcycle. According to Paulding police, the Pontiac turned out in front of the motorcycle, causing the crash and ultimately the death of the motorcyclist.

The identity of the motorcyclist was not released immediately, but he was later revealed as Patrick Sebastian Smith of Atlanta.

The driver of the Pontiac has been identified as 23-year-old Joshua Michael Mosley of Dallas. Although there is no word on if he was injured in the crash, we do know that he was arrested following the wreck. Police believe Mosley was driving under the influence of alcohol, and they charged him with multiple charges, including DUI, violation of open container law, failure to yield at a sign, and vehicular homicide.

The Paulding County Sheriff's Office held Mosley in Paulding County Jail, and the Georgia State Patrol is now investigating this deadly crash.

In addition, Mosley was traveling with two other occupants in his vehicle at the time of the crash, including his 16-year-old brother. There is no information that causes us to believe the occupants of this car were injured.

The Dover Law Firm would like to wish the family and friends of Patrick Sebastian Smith the strength to get through this very difficult time.
