A 38-year-old woman was killed in a Cobb County truck accident earlier this month. The crash occurred on Tuesday September 6, 2011. According to accident reports, Trisha M. Miller was waiting to make a left on to Dallas Highway from West Sandtown Road. Ms. Miller had allegedly entered the intersection on the green light when a dump truck traveling on Dallas Highway went through the intersection while the traffic signal was red and collided with her vehicle and then another car.
Ms. Miller was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital by ambulance, but she died of her Cobb County accident injuries. The driver of the other car, Louis Duckwall Jr., was seriously injured in the crash and was also taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. He is reportedly in stable condition after this Cobb County wreck. The driver of the dump truck, Jason Chatham, was not injured in the crash.
Police have told the media that they expect to charge Mr. Chatham in relation to this accident.
We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Trisha Miller, and we express our best wishes for a full and fast recovery to Louis Duckwall following this Cobb County car accident.
