Why does lung cancer often go undetected until its in its advanced stage?

A: Lung and bronchus cancers often do not show any symptoms while in their early stages. In most cases, the signs and symptoms associated with lung cancer begin to develop and appear only after the disease is in its advanced stages. If you think you may have any of the symptoms of lung cancer, it is recommended that you speak with your doctor.

Although they can be used to help detect lung cancer, it’s important to note that the signs and symptoms of the disease are usually caused by something else, and not cancer.

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with lung cancer in Georgia and feel it was discovered late or that you received bad medical care, please request a copy of our free book, I Have Cancer…Should It Have Been Caught Earlier?, or contact an experienced Atlanta medical malpractice and lung cancer lawyer at the Dover Law Firm at 770-518-1133 to arrange your free consultation.
