Enrolling them in Drivers’ Ed courses from accredited driving schools, talking to them about the importance of road safety, setting your own rules for them regarding who they can drive with and how much time they can spend on the road, and making those rules comply with the legal restrictions that come with having a restricted license can all do wonders to instill in them the importance of safe driving when they are out on the road alone. In addition to all of this, setting a good example for them in your own driving can convey to them a sense of responsibility and maturity about proper road practices.
