In 1991, I began my legal career as a sole practitioner and later expanded the practice and founded the Dover Law Firm.  For my undergraduate education I attended Georgia State University and Shorter University and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.  I went to Georgia State on a baseball scholarship and later transferred to Shorter University where I received the Joseph Hackett Award as an Outstanding Scholar Athlete.  At Shorter University I was the Varsity Baseball Team Captain in both my Junior and Senior years. 

I attended law school at Georgia State University in Atlanta and was awarded my Juris Doctorate.  I'm licensed to practice in all of the State and Superior Courts of Georgia, the Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia.  I'm also admitted to the United States District Court in Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.  I'm a member of the American Association For Justice, the Georgia State Bar Association, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers’ Association. 

Having started as a criminal lawyer for the defense, with cases ranging from murder to armed robbery, bank robbery, aggravated assault, and DUIs, I found my true calling as a plaintiff’s attorney, caring for the injured and the oppressed.  My list of cases argued in jury trials ranges from injury cases involving automobile accidents and truck wrecks to medical malpractice cases. I've aggressively prosecuted legal malpractice cases as well. As a trial attorney, I have argued multiple appeals in both the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court, as well as in the federal appellate circuits.
